The regular size features a hinged door quarter turn latch. The large size (A whopping 32" wide - Is there a bigger brooder than this one? We don't think anyone else has one this large!) has 2 hinged  doors. 

 The hinged door on the Chick Chalet smoothly swings out of the way, and allows you place units side by side without the door sliding into the brooder next to it. Constructed of ABS and acrylic plastic. You can easily open and close the door with one hand while removing the baby parrot with the other. The doors are easily removed for cleaning and disinfecting.

And those distinctive trademark screws allow you to completely disassemble our brooders for heavy duty - end of season cleaning.
