The Original Cooler Brooder

self.
The Cooler Brooder is a portable
brooder for keeping baby animals warm until they can do that on their own.
Featuring digital electronic controls, fan to circulate the heat, and a clear
inner lid so you can look in and check on your baby bird, puppy, kitten.
Originally designed for keeping baby parrots warm while they are being hand fed
and raised to be young adult birds, the Cooler Brooder has found many other uses
where control of the temperature is crucial. Laboratories and hospitals use them
for transporting blood specimens, cattle and horse breeders use them to
transport semen from prized bulls, zoos use them to transport eggs as well as
live animals. The dual voltage models come with a power adapter so you can plug
into 120VAC wall outlets or car cigarette/power outlets. One year part and labor
warranty.

Menu driven, direct entry controls make it easy to control the temperature
on newly hatched babies,
even from day one. Clear inner lid means you can see the babies without letting
all the heat out. And when the lid is closed fresh air supplied through
the air vent molded into the outer lid. And as the babies mature and you require a lower setting, the setting
can be changed with a twist of a dial. Hi temperature alarm, a 2 line alpha
numeric menu display for
easy setup and adjustment of the brooder. Your last temperature setting is stored in
memory and is remembered even if the power is off. The Cooler Brooder tells you what you need to know!
Audible and visual indicators of alarm status. Our display also reads out
in tenths of a degree Fahrenheit and Celcius - and optionally the humidity
too.

This
has saved me on so many occasions, I can't even count them. I raised two
Gouldian finch babies from day one in this brooder, using it with the
cigarette lighter extension to transport them to/from work. I have also
used it (later) to transport a sick bird to the vet, and also to transport
wild birds for a wildlife rescue. The peace of mind, knowing that your
charges are safe and warm, and aren't too close or too far from some
improvised heating device, is worth twice the cost of the brooder! I've
already bought one for my sister, who has parrots, and I intend to buy the
next size up as soon as I can scrape up the money!!

item and this company should get the highest review I have ever
given. They went above and beyond our expectations. The service was
exceptional, but the results of the Dorking chicken eggs and chicks

We
travel a lot, and live in the Midwest and are subject to many storms and
power outages and thought the cooler brooder would be helpful... We go to
our cottage, and in the motorhome and the babies come right on along with
us and don't miss a beat! I wouldn't be without the cooler brooder, ever!
It keeps a consistent temperature and easy to take along!

Busy
Bee Apiaries is a commercial honey bee operation that pollinates
crops, produce honey , and produce the VSH queen bee in high
demand throughout the USA. We use the small incubator in our
queen bee production process. After a graft is made of the
larvae, 5 days later the queen cell is sealed and we remove it
from the cell pulling hive to the incubator. Here it remains
for a week then is transferred to a mating box for hatching and
mating. The use of the Avey Incubator increases the queen
production by more than doubling out put of queens and reduction
of cell pulling hives by half. This small piece of low cost
equipment increases production at pennies on the dollar and
enhances the profit in our operation.
I
know this is a unusual use of the Avey Incubator , but this is a
very versatile item of equipment. It is low cost and very
dependable. Ours has been in operation for over 3 years and
hasn't let us down yet!

To change the temperature setpoint you must first enter a
passcode (number)
Then you may change the temp up or down in tenths of a degree
C. (You can enter the passcode and then make a change in about 3 to 4 seconds - no one
else has this kind of security and ease of adjustment) |
A passcode protected setup routine completely controlled by 1 knob. (The settings are
protected and will not change if the Cooler Brooder controls are accidentally bumped or
when curious fingers "play" with the knob.) Sophisticated but made simple to

I use the Cooler brooder in the nursery for all my baby birds and I also
use it as a hatcher. Once an egg has started to hatch I like to isolate the egg from the
other eggs in the incubator. The Cooler Brooder is perfect for this. Since the Cooler
Brooder shares many of the same electronics as our Avey Incubator, the temperature is
maintained very accurately. Many of our customers use their Cooler Brooders as a
hatcher. Perfect for day 1 babies.

Air vent
